Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") tells you what you can and cannot do when using the Welcome to the Jungle Platform as a candidate. It applies to everything you post, share, or do on the Platform, whether or not it is AI-powered.
This Policy is ancillary to our Terms of Use and forms part of your agreement with Welcome to the Jungle ("WTTJ", "we", "us"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Use which set out the full framework governing your use of the Platform.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version will always apply to your use of the Platform.
Part 1 - Be Honest and Accurate
Your profile and applications are the foundation of your job search. We ask you to:
- Keep your profile truthful. All information you provide, including your work experience, education, skills, and qualifications, must be accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Review any content including AI generated one before saving it. You are responsible for the final content of your profile and applications.
- Be genuine in your applications. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection by recruiters, suspension of your account, and/or legal consequences.
- Use a real identity. You must not impersonate another person, create fake profiles, or misrepresent your identity or qualifications in any way.
Part 2 - Use the Platform for Its Intended Purpose
The Platform is designed to help you find the right job. Please use it accordingly:
- Search and apply for jobs in good faith. Only apply for positions you genuinely intend to pursue and for which you believe you meet the requirements.
- Be purposeful. Do not mass-apply to jobs indiscriminately, including by using automated tools or AI to submit bulk applications without reviewing each position individually.
- Respect recruiter processes by complying with any instructions provided in a job posting.
- Use your own judgment. AI recommendations are a helpful tool, not a substitute for your own assessment. Career decisions are yours to make.
