These Artificial Intelligence and Matching Technologies Terms (the “AI Terms for Candidates”) supplement and form an integral part of the Welcome to the Jungle Terms of Use (the "Terms of Use"), available here. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Use.

These AI Terms for Candidates describe how Welcome to the Jungle (“WTTJ”) uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies on the Platform and govern your use of AI-powered features. They also reflect Welcome to the Jungle's commitment to helping candidates find the right professional opportunities using artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly and authentically.

Welcome to the Jungle (WTTJ) uses AI to enhance your job search experience, making it easier to discover opportunities that match your skills, experience, and career aspirations. These Terms explain how AI works on our Platform, what it means for you as a candidate, and how we ensure it's used responsibly.

As AI transforms how people find jobs, we recognize both the tremendous opportunities and significant responsibilities that come with this technology. Our approach prioritizes transparency, authenticity, fairness, and putting you in control at every stage of your job search journey.

1. How We Use AI to Support Your Job Search

We are committed to using AI to make your career journey easier by:

• Reducing time spent on repetitive tasks like building profiles;
• Helping you cut through the noise and discover relevant opportunities faster;
• Providing personalized career guidance and insights;

While keeping you in control of all decisions about your career and applications.

b. Fighting Discrimination, Not Perpetuating It

Our vision is clear. In a world where bias may still influence hiring decisions, AI gives us the opportunity to level the playing field but only if we build it right. To ensure our AI systems do not perpetuate existing biases, we apply three key principles :

• No training on historical decision data

  We do not train our models on past hiring decisions, to avoid reproducing patterns (whether from candidates or recruiters) that may carry bias.

• No inference from sensitive or potentially discriminatory data

  Our AI does not generate or infer text based on information that could lead to discrimination, such as name, address, ethnicity, gender, age, or any other protected characteristic.

• Explicit anti-bias instructions

  The prompts we use to guide our AI models include explicit instructions to avoid any form of bias or discrimination in their outputs.

Fairness is not an aspiration, it's a requirement.

Data protection is built into every AI feature by design, from conception to deployment.
